Today is the day! We are celebrating the release of “KURDUCA EP” by Miguel Toro. Available on Beatport, iTunes Store, Juno Download, Trackitdown, Nu Loop and many more digital stores
“Orkestar” is an eclectic track that builds up on simple elements and reaches to a dramatic climax. Rooted on a rock solid drum and hihat pattern, a variety of little percussive parafernalia, played live, colors the track and leads us to dance heaven. A simple structure acts as a canvas for electronic, noisy melodic elements and a voice sample adds the right amount of intensity. “Kurduca” is also a showcase for Toro’s mastery of percussive hooks. Innovative and deeply latin on its hihat work, a steady , barely melodic line runs over the whole track with great dancefloor effect. There are plenty of details such as hushed voices, spoken samples and glitchy undertones that result on a sophisticated, highly danceable contemporary track.

Comments on Itunes:
“Captivating” by Machine Unknow
“This podcast by Everclocked explores the various styles of Electronic music from new up and coming artists from the depths of the globe. With that being said, quality was not sacrificed. I found it quite refreshing to tune into these artists and experience their take on perpetual beats and grooving rythms. All to often it is the artists and projects like the ones found in this podcast, that rides the subliminal undercurrent of the over-exposed electronic scene and too often gets passed up for the hippsters of the moment. Each episode in this podcast takes the listener on a manic rollercoaster of cerebral-deep dance-floor smashing good times. Specifically, it is Monopolar’s – under rated techno veterans from suth America – episode that took me to a place of fist pumping desk banginh madness in my office – Hell Yeah! Final words: ABSOLUTELY WICKED!”
