About Us

Nowadays, everyone is always trying to get back to natural…to their roots…eating organics, and searching for fresh air.  Luckily for the aficionados of Pantamuzik, this has never been an issue. Although the label has emigrated all over Latin America…From Peru, to Colombia…and now to Mexico City – their heritage has stayed intact.

South America is a contradictory continent divided between the ancient worlds of tradition, color & rhythm, movement & mystery…Juxtaposed against uncivilized brutality & blood shed.

Fortunately, the same countries invented Salsa & Cumbia music…these sounds are found in the streets, in the back rooms & tucked away in the countryside.

For Pantamuzik artists the music has always been not just a form of expression, but a way of fighting against a tough reality…And the nightlife & all the people in it…their familia.

Pantamuzik stand apart – with a sound that blends pure & raw emotion, with a genuine respect & unique twist on the techno genre. They’ve gained respect & support from world-renowned DJ’s and musicians such as Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice & Samim.  Many of whom, have played at their now-famous “ALTEREGO” parties, gracing the decks with Pantamuzik artists such as: Monopolar, Israel Vich, Signal Deluxe, Razz & more. Founded in 1999, the label knew its identity right away…focusing on great House & Techno, produced & homegrown locally by talented Latin-American artists.

According to label founder Humberto Polar (1/2 of Monopolar) “We were all growing up listening to folklore along with Anglo-American hits on the radio. The blending of our sounds isn’t something we just invented for marketing reasons.”  With a strong brand, domination of the South American Techno territory, and a slew of heavy-hitting releases in their stash, Pantamuzik’s reverberations are clearly too big for just one continent.

“Music is what we really love, it stays in our hearts when we go to sleep & is still there when we wake up. It’s something that no one can take away from us…” Says Monopolar, “Our sense of musicality…our joy of dancing.”
